Scaling Collective Impact With LabXchange

With a one-of-a-kind learning platform, vast library, and global team, LabXchange democratizes access to science learning and career resources for everyone, everywhere. Our global movement is founded on the transformative power of education, and driven by the strength of our coalition. We believe in the power of collaboration to advance equity; together, we can shape the future of STEM.

“LabXchange is built on an ethos of diversity, strength in numbers, and collaboration, not competition. The challenges the world faces cannot be solved by one individual, one company, or one university alone. LabXchange actively seeks the contributions of like-minded institutions committed to investing in the next generation of changemakers.”
—Gaurav Vazirani, managing director, LabXchange

Ready to take the next step? We can't wait to hear from you.

Since its launch in 2020, LabXchange has been accessed by 50 million people across the world, including 14 million in 2023.

Solving global challenges

Many of humanity’s greatest challenges require engagement with science, yet inequitable access to education excludes much of the world from participating in science. For tomorrow’s problem solvers to thrive, they need to be given attention and guidance, provided with quality resources, and shown that they belong in science.

  • By supporting LabXchange’s operating costs, you enable groundbreaking science learning for educators and learners everywhere.
  • By funding a new content area, like data science or diversity, equity, and inclusion in STEM, you give learners everywhere access to a dynamic, cutting-edge digital library.
  • By sponsoring a translation project, you invite new voices to join a conversation on the future of science, whatever their mother tongue.

💡 Did you know that select LabXchange content is available in 17 languages, including Spanish, French, Arabic, Vietnamese, and Ukrainian? With the help of the scientific community, we hope to add many more, reaching more learners in more places by translating our platform interface and other content.

Scaling cross-sector impact

While scientific concepts are universal, science curricula are not. Educators must convey knowledge to learners under strict parameters that leave little time for exploration. Another topic that isn’t adequately addressed in science classrooms? The scope of potential career paths in STEM, and how to prepare for them.

  • By funding knowledge mapping for a curriculum or industry, you equip the next generation of scientists with the tools they need for success.
  • By leading development of LMS integrations or AI interventions, your technological expertise takes our innovation to the next level.
  • By supporting an evaluation project, you help us pinpoint how our solution is working–and where we can work together to improve it.

💡Working with teachers and other experts, LabXchange is mapping content to local curricula, including Nigeria’s Basic Education Curriculum, AP Biology, the Next Generation Science Standards, and more. We also seek to foster career exploration and preparedness to create a more diverse network of future scientists.

Inspiring the next generation of STEM

Educators everywhere have one thing in common: they’re responsible for inspiring and nurturing curious minds, and want every learner to excel. But they often don’t have the time, resources, or support to give every learner the attention they need.

  • By sponsoring a teacher ambassador cohort, you empower educators to harness the power of online learning in their classrooms, wherever they are.
  • By funding the creation of interactive learning resources, you make it possible for every educator to teach in their own way.
  • By championing a digital accessibility project, you ensure that online learning resources are easier to use–for everyone.

💡The Teacher Ambassador Program empowers educators to become advocates for LabXchange. Through a rigorous application process, two master teachers are selected to lead cohorts of 20 teacher ambassadors, all of whom receive stipends for their time. Substantive training equips educators to practice student-centered online learning, develop student lab skills, design learning pathways and more. You can help us expand the program to new regions and teachers by sponsoring a cohort!
