We are delighted to announce that LabXchange has won a Gold Award, Silver Award, and an Anthem Community Voice Award in the 4th Annual Anthem Awards!
Selected by a panel of Anthem Award judges, LabXchange has won a Gold Award in the Responsible Technology category, which highlights platforms or projects that aim to address educational needs through innovative and responsible uses of technology.
Many of the greatest challenges facing humanity require a deep engagement with science, but inequitable access to high-quality science education excludes much of the world’s population from meaningfully engaging with these problems. With support from the Amgen Foundation, we have created a collaborative ecosystem grounded in a powerful online education platform that enables and empowers everyone, everywhere, to teach and learn science. Let’s work together to empower the next generation of scientists.
After an enthusiastic campaign, LabXchange has also won an Anthem Community Voice Award—an award determined by a community vote. We are honored to have such a dedicated and supportive audience who is as passionate about improving access to high-quality science education as we are. Thank you to everyone who voted for our platform!
LabXchange's Racial Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Science Education (RDEISE) project has won a Silver Award in the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion category, which highlights projects that aim to promote increased education related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Science and society are fundamentally intertwined: everyone needs science and science needs everyone. RDEISE educational resources are designed to challenge the perception that science is independent of social issues, promote inclusive and accessible science education, guide learners in applying critical thinking skills, and equip educators with what they need to address these topics in the classroom.
