Congratulations to the 2024 Moldova Teacher Ambassador Cohort

With support from the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova, the 2024 Moldova Teacher Ambassador Cohort recently completed three months of training. The 14 teacher ambassadors and two master teachers worked to share LabXchange with educators and learners in their communities, and designed learning pathways in biology, chemistry, physics, and other STEM subjects. The cohort also kicked off the translation of LabXchange’s user interface into Romanian, which is spoken by at least 17.5 million people worldwide.

Moldova’s Ministry of Education and Research has identified teacher training, recruitment, and retention among their priorities for 2024, in addition to increasing students' access to quality education and creating more democratic, transparent, and participatory educational communities.

“Surely the LabXchange platform will change education in the Republic of Moldova and help develop a creative and innovative generation. And we ambassadors will make every effort to promote it among teaching staff.”
—Nadejda Cazacioc, teacher ambassador

With our shared mission of making high-quality science education accessible to learners and educators everywhere, we were grateful to work with the 2024 Moldova Teacher Ambassador Cohort and look forward to continuing to support science educators in Moldova!
