Foundational Concepts and Techniques in Biotechnology, a cluster of free remote learning resources for biotechnology built by LabXchange and the Amgen Biotech Experience, is now available in Arabic, Chinese (Simplified), Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, Latin American Spanish, and Turkish.
Based on the accomplished Amgen Biotech Experience program, now celebrating its 30th anniversary, this cluster exposes learners to key concepts and lab procedures in biotechnology through 11 unique digital pathways. These pathways include virtual lab simulations, animations, and videos to make learning accessible, interactive, and fun.
Foundational Concepts and Techniques in Biotechnology was created at Harvard University’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences with support from the Amgen Foundation, and includes content from leading organizations, including the Concord Consortium, Khan Academy, Wellcome Genome Campus, Science IRL, and iBiology.
